Diina Tamm
Dance is one of the most natural and beautiful ways of self expression. We all have it within us. And it is magical how easily it can create powerful connections between people of very different backgrounds.

About

Diina Tamm is a New York-based professional dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher.  Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, she has been part of various dance shows in the USA, Estonia, Canada, Sweden, and Finland. 

Her recent credits include dancing for MTV with Liza Koshy,  opening number of Macy's 91st Thanksgiving Day Parade, appearing as a dancer on several episodes of MTV TRL show, choreographing for New York Fashion Week, directing and choreographing various shows presented in New York City ("Rush Through"; “Reflection Spectrum”; “Kahn Islander” Studio 842 - Spring Collection Fashion Show) and an immersive performance “Tonality of Culture” at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.  Her credits include dancing in music videos by artists such as Icona Pop, Misterwives, Jennifair, etc. She has performed on various tv shows (“Good Morning America”; “Tippkohtumine” etc.) and worked as a dancer and choreographer's assistant for a live broadcast on ABC.

Diina has been one of the dancers and choreographers for one of Scandinavias biggest show agencies Dance Factory, been cast in many shows on cruise ships (Viking Lines, Tallink-Silja), performed internationally in various theatrical productions and showcases (New York Fashion Week, Fuerza Bruta, Nuit Rose, Estado Ingravitto, Sette Mondi, SambaSalsa, Run The Night, Choreogrpahesr Canvas, Young Choreographers Festival, etc.) and had the honor to work with amazing choreographers such as Nappytabs,  Ryan Daniel Beck, Michael Blevins, James Jackson Jr, James Koroni, Floroan Fructuoso, Justin Boccitto, Derek Mitchell, Amanda Carlson, Ashlé Dawson, Lauren Blue, and many more.

Diina has been also been teaching international masterclasses and workshops in the USA, Estonia, and Spain.  She is currently a faculty member at Westchester Ballet Center of Performing Arts and also works as an assistant dance teacher for Children and Teen Program at Broadway Dance Center. She is a teaching dance artist at Wingspan Arts.
